Service 07 / Digital product development

Human direction.
AI-assisted momentum.

Chromatic Bureau plans, designs, and develops websites and applications with accountable human decision-making. AI-assisted tools are used selectively to explore, prototype, implement, and review—not to replace product judgment, security checks, or client approval.

What we build

Digital products with a clear job to do.

Every engagement begins with the audience, business purpose, content or workflow, technical constraints, and useful measures of completion.

01

Conversion websites

Responsive marketing and service websites with clear journeys, content systems, enquiry flows, analytics-ready structure, and accessible components.

02

Web applications

Focused browser applications, dashboards, customer portals, and workflow tools shaped around defined users and business tasks.

03

Mobile app products

Cross-platform product planning, interface design, prototypes, API integration, and staged implementation for iOS and Android experiences.

04

AI-enabled workflows

Practical features such as structured search, content assistance, classification, summarisation, or guided support when the use case and data controls justify them.

Assisted, not unattended

AI supports the work.
People own the decisions.

The toolset is selected for the requirement. Its role, limitations, review points, and any client-data restrictions are agreed before use.

  1. 01

    Explore

Use assisted research and synthesis to organise requirements, edge cases, content structures, and alternative product directions.

  2. 02

    Prototype

Turn agreed journeys into reviewable interface and interaction prototypes before committing to full implementation.

  3. 03

    Implement

Use coding assistance for bounded tasks while developers retain responsibility for architecture, integration, review, and maintainability.

  4. 04

    Verify

Support test-case generation, documentation, accessibility checks, and defect investigation—followed by human review and acceptance.

Delivery model

From a useful brief to a maintainable release.

Scope can cover a complete product or a defined stage. Chromatic Bureau confirms the technology, third-party services, review cadence, ownership terms, and deployment responsibilities in writing.

01

Define

Clarify users, goals, journeys, content, integrations, constraints, risks, and the smallest responsible release.

02

Design

Create information architecture, responsive interfaces, component behaviour, prototypes, and accessible interaction states.

03

Develop

Build agreed frontend, backend, CMS, API, or application components in reviewable increments with documented decisions.

04

Release

Complete agreed testing, deployment preparation, documentation, handover, and a prioritised post-release improvement plan.

Responsible use

Controls around the accelerated workflow.

Data boundaries: Client confidential information, personal data, credentials, and production datasets are not entered into unapproved AI services. Permitted tools and data handling are agreed for the engagement.

Human review: Assisted output is treated as a draft or implementation aid. Architecture, code, content, accessibility, security-sensitive decisions, and final deliverables remain subject to appropriate human review.

Third-party transparency: Material platforms, APIs, libraries, hosting services, and AI dependencies are identified in the project scope or handover where relevant. Their terms, pricing, and availability remain controlled by their providers.

No invented outcomes: AI assistance does not guarantee a faster launch, lower cost, error-free software, advertising approval, adoption, revenue, or any other result affected by scope and external factors.

Project enquiry

Bring the problem,
not a perfect specification.

Share the users, business objective, current systems, required platforms, integrations, timing, and what a useful first release should accomplish.
